Recognize when to escalate
Unknown material, vapor, fire or reaction risk, pressure, exposure symptoms and a rapidly expanding release require the established response route. Do not approach an uncertain hazard simply to place a product.
Transfer responsibility
Identify any mat, pads or other controls already in place. Record the response instructions and person accepting the handoff. Spill Diaper has two absorbent layers and a plastic barrier; product availability does not change the operator's assigned role.
